Maitrī Movement

signature 8-week trauma-informed movement program

This weekly program offers gentle yoga, breath awareness and guided relaxation practices designed to support nervous system regulation and emotional wellbeing.

Classes provide a calm and welcoming environment where women can:

• reconnect with their bodies
• experience moments of rest and ease
• build connection with others in the community

Children are welcome to attend alongside their mothers.

Each session may include:

• gentle somatic movement
• breath awareness
• guided relaxation
• optional sound meditation

Everything in this space is an invitation. Everyone is welcome to move, rest, or simply observe. There is no right or wrong way to take part — only what feels comfortable and safe in the moment.

Maitrī Mother and Baby

4-week infant massage program

This program supports mothers in nurturing connection and bonding with their babies through gentle infant massage practices.

Infant massage can support:

• bonding and attachment
• relaxation for both mother and baby
• improved sleep and digestion
• maternal confidence and connection

The program offers a safe and supportive space where mothers can learn simple techniques while connecting with other women in the community.

community-responsive programs

Maitrī wellbeing programs will continue to evolve in response to the needs and interests of the communities we serve, and through collaboration with partner organisations.
